While we mostly focus on bourbon, and whiskey in general, we also like to try some other sprits from time to time as well. The Siete Leguas Tequila is a bottle that Angie got recently, and we were very excited to try it.
Let’s jump right in.
Color: In the glass, this is an extremely clear spirit, with a golden straw tinge to it.
Nose: The overwhelming smell on this is the agave. There are some peppercorn notes, alongside some very light oak notes with a hint of vanilla. The nose is very inviting.
Palate: A sweet start that moves into Pure agave flavors with spicy peppercorn. The sip is ridiculously smooth, full of some woody notes from the 8 months it spends in new white oak barrels.

Made from 100% Tequilana Webber Agave, using both old donkey-mills and stones to crush the agave, as well as new methods, this is a phenomenal tequila that is one you should not pass up given the opportunity to try.
