Jim Beam Bourbon has become the first Kentucky distillery to fill up it’s 15 millionth barrel of whiskey, coming just two years after they filled up the 14 millionth. American whiskey is on the rise world-wide, and Jim Beam is no exception to the booming industry.
The barrel was filled and sealed by Seventh Generation Master Distiller Fred Noe and his Son Freddie Noe, and was signed by employees from Clermont, Boston, and Frankfurt, at the distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. This historic milestone is a perfect example of the rise in popularity of Whisky, and especially Bourbon, around the world. Bourbon is now an industry that is valued at approximately $8.5 billion.
So raise a glass of bourbon tonight to Jim Beam, and seven generations of distillers reaching new milestones for America’s Spirit!
Cheers!
