Easy, delicious, and refreshing-the whiskey sour is excellent for any occasion. The whiskey sour traditionally was made with egg whites, and we continued that tradition with our recipe as well. The nice part of a whiskey sour is that for ease of making, you can forget the egg white and just use a sweet and sour mix, and still end up with a nice sipper. The true method uses lemon juice, simple syrup, a good bourbon, and egg white. You mix the ingredients together in a shaker, and shake without ice (dry shake) then add ice, shake some more, and pour over ice into your rocks glass. We then garnish with a cherry and a few dried rosemary leaves. The rosemary adds a savory note that really makes the cocktail shine.
