It’s time for another Bonded Whiskey. Bottled in Bond is a spirit (typically whiskey) that follows certain restrictions about how it is made, aged, and bottled. For more information on what Bonded means, check out our post here.

Color: Clear, rust and copper color. Definitely red in there

Nose: Citrus, floral, and oaky vanilla notes are all very apparent. Smells like an oak filled candy shop.

Palate: This is a full bodied sip, some leather hints complimenting vanilla, and orange marmalade notes. There is a hint of heat as well, but it is remarkably smooth.

Finish: Long, smooth, and robust, full of baking chocolate and vanilla notes that all compliment each other well.

With Water:

Nose: More vanilla and floral notes come out, the citrus kind of fades though. Still very inviting.

Palate: Vanilla hits right up front, with plenty of marmalade, toast, and citrus notes. It is still a very full bodied sip, standing up to water well.

Finish: Still robust, but a little less chocolate and a bit shorter, but plenty of vanilla and toast notes.

This Whiskey is reminiscent of a breakfast, with notes of toast and marmalade. It is smooth, easy drinking, and absolutely delicious. Once again, Laws Whiskey House knocks it out of the park.
